AND IF WE WANTED UBI TO BE PERFECT… WE WOULD:

  • Dodger and bimini are functional and in good shape but show signs of aging
  • Although purely aesthetic, some exterior paint chips off
  • The headsail is the only sail that is more than 5 years-old. Although still propulsive and revised professionally in 2018, getting a new headsail would improve the boat’s performance
  • We would replace the auto-pilot screen, as it is partially blackened
  • As in most boats, interior wood needs to be maintained regularly
  • We would change the headliner in the aft cabins, as it starts to loosen
  • We would replace the insulation in the engine compartment: it is functional but rather ugly
